Austin's 10th Birthday celebration

Austin is 10!  He decided to take some friends to a Stars hockey game to celebrate!

The game was so much fun!  The Stars won and the boys got on the jumbo-tron!

Since it was fan appreciation night, they got to go down and play on the ice.  They had so much fun!

Happy 10th Birthday Austin!  We love you!!

Backyard camping

Friday Ethan and Austin stayed home to recover from a stomach bug that hit Lauren and them earlier in the week. My body was fighting it, so I was exhausted all day. We made the best of it and had a fun day laying around. The weather was amazing!

Eric had to cut down some branches for the new fence to go up, so the kids had fun making a fort out of them.

The cats love walking on the top of the fence.

Since the weather was so perfect, we decided to set up the tent and have a campout!

Eric and I bought this tent 17 years ago for our 6 month dating anniversary. Wow! That makes me feel very old!!

We had an outdoor pizza party. Crazy the weather was that perfect in February!

I love creating memories with the kids!

Christmas 2015

We woke up Christmas morning and were excited to see Santa came!

Kids patiently waited for 6 adults and 4 teens to wake up before they went in living room.

Love these kids!

Every year Santa leaves a special note in someone's stocking with clues to find their last presents.

The last clue lead them to the garage where they found new bikes and a scooter!

Blair's first Christmas!

Lauren's first selfie on her new iPod.

We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed spending it at home with our family.

Christmas Eve 2015

Christmas Eve we went to our church.  There were Minions, 40,000 lbs of snow, awesome music and a great service.

Kids were excited to play in the snow.

The best part of Christmas Eve was Lauren got baptized!  She asked Jesus into her heart and was so excited to be baptized!

After church, we headed back to our house to open some presents.

Beaver's Bend, Oklahoma

During Thanksgiving break, we went on an adventure to Oklahoma with Eric's parents, Nanny and the Pinkertons. We stayed in a beautiful log cabin in Broken Bow, OK.  Eric and his family went camping in Beaver's Bend State Park when they were little and were excited to take our family to experience it.

Jan and Leon

Lauren may have beat me up the big hill.

Checking out Beaver's Bend State Park!

It was beautiful and the weather was perfect!

Eric and Jennifer have fond memories of this part of the park.  When the warning horn sounds, it means the dam is about to release water and you better run!

So gorgeous!

The kids favorite part of Oklahoma was an awesome lean to fort they built.

They put bark all over the ground to make a floor and had logs to sit on.

They layed down moss to make comfy spots to lay on and left a note for the next people who find it.

We played lots of games in the cabin.

Sadie apparently nosed around the bonfire.  Typical Sadie!

We had the best time hiking around Beaver's Bend.

After a fun day of hiking, we headed back to the cabin for some fishing and a big bonfire.

We had the best time and can't wait to go back!

I'm still on the hunt for Big Foot!
