During Thanksgiving break, we went on an adventure to Oklahoma with Eric's parents, Nanny and the Pinkertons. We stayed in a beautiful log cabin in Broken Bow, OK. Eric and his family went camping in Beaver's Bend State Park when they were little and were excited to take our family to experience it.

Lauren may have beat me up the big hill.
Checking out Beaver's Bend State Park!
It was beautiful and the weather was perfect!
Eric and Jennifer have fond memories of this part of the park. When the warning horn sounds, it means the dam is about to release water and you better run!
So gorgeous!
The kids favorite part of Oklahoma was an awesome lean to fort they built.
They put bark all over the ground to make a floor and had logs to sit on.
They layed down moss to make comfy spots to lay on and left a note for the next people who find it.
We played lots of games in the cabin.
Sadie apparently nosed around the bonfire. Typical Sadie!
We had the best time hiking around Beaver's Bend.
After a fun day of hiking, we headed back to the cabin for some fishing and a big bonfire.
We had the best time and can't wait to go back!
I'm still on the hunt for Big Foot!
