School fun

Austin had a Native American Wax Museum in his class.  He was a warrior and gave a speech about his role in the Lipan Apaches. 

Lauren enjoyed her turkey lunch to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Contacts!

After wearing glasses for years, Ethan got contacts!  

His eyelashes are so long, it was hard to get them in at first!  With a little practice, he figured it out and is now a pro.

Poor guy has terrible eyesight like I do.  His contacts are -4.25 and mine are -5.5.  I was shocked when he couldn't read the big E. He is counting down the days until he is 21 and can get laser eye surgery. 

He loves his contacts and I love seeing his pretty eyes! 

Halloween 2015

For Halloween, the kids picked out their own costumes.  Ethan and Lauren wanted to be werewolves and Austin was a zombie football player.

Lyon Scotts football

My nephew Trent plays football for Lyon's College in Arkansas.  When they played a game in Waxahachie Texas, we had to go!  The whole family came out to watch!

It was a super hot day with not a cloud in sight.

Dierks Bentley

Back in August, Amy asked me to go see Dierks Bentley with her at the Austin360 Amphitheater.  We had the best time!

We had amazing seats!

Maddie and Tae opened up the show.  They were so cute!

I now have a huge crush on Dierks.  LOL!

I loved the show and had the best time with Amy!

Pinterest Pallet Party!

When I found a new place in Jonestown that has Pinterest parties, I knew we had to go!  It was so fun!  They supplied all the power tools, paint, customized templates and everything we needed to make our very own pallet art.

We nailed together the boards, stained them, put on vinyl templates, painted and finished the pallets.  It was hard work!

First day of school 2015

They jumped on the bus with their friends this morning.

 Lauren and Madi held hands all the way to their classrooms.  So sweet!

 We are so excited about Lauren's teacher.  Austin had her for first grade too!

It's the last year all the kids will all be at the same school!  We sure love these kiddos and are praying they have a great year!

Ethan's 10th birthday

Ethan celebrated his 10th birthday with friends at Main Event and then had a sleepover.

Round Rock Express game

This May we took the kids to see the Round Rock Express.  Rachel, Jackie and I posing in the suite.

The kids had a great time until...

Ethan got hit in the nose with a foul ball.  We were standing near the bathrooms where you can't even see the field.  So random! He was fine though and he got the ball and free tickets to another game. 

It was such a fun night!

Cheer Camp

Lauren went to Rouse Cheer Camp with her friends!

She loved learning the cheers.

It was so fun to watch her perform!

We were shocked when our tiny little girl was a base and not a birdie!  Lol! She had so much fun and wants to do it again next season.
