our little mess
Lauren is at such a fun age! She can communicate now and her playful personality is really coming out. She loves the play food Gege got her for Christmas and of course her favorite things to play with are the Coke bottle and ice cream cone.
She is quite the handful! She jumped in the bathtub fully clothed before we could stop her.

minute to win it
Since we are big Minute To Win It fans, we decided to make our own game up at home. Fun times!

more tubing fun
Since we loved tubing so much, we decided to go back one last time before we headed back home. This time, we got more tubes and everyone decided to be brave and go down the big hill.
The conveyor belt that took us up the hill was just part of the fun.
I barely saw Austin and Ethan all night. They ran around with their cousins and grandparents and weren't interested in going on a tube with their mom.
Lauren, on the other hand, LOVED her first experience at tubing and rode with me!
She looks so tiny all bundled up in the tube.
Can you believe Leon, Kai, Eric and Ethan all went down on a tube together? It was crazy!
Tubing was the perfect way to end our amazing vacation!

Christmas Day 2010
Our Christmas morning started off bright and early at 6 a.m. The grown ups were actually up before the kids!

Christmas Eve 2010
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with family! Abby made this sweet sign for the kids.
The kids opened presents and immediately got right to playing.
Lauren loved her piggy Pillow Pet from Aunt Jenny.
Abby and Emmy modeling their scarfs I made them.
The boys all got light sabers and had fun terrorizing each other.
Tough guys
Out of all her girly toys, Lauren loved the boys' light sabers the best. Go figure!
After opening a couple presents, we headed over to watch skiers come down the face of the mountain with torches. It was cool! They ended the festivities with fireworks.
The freezing cold spectators
When we got home, the kids broke in their new rock band toys. Lauren is a natural with the microphone which makes her momma very happy.
Frosty the snowman
We had fun building a snowman, making snow angels and having snowball fights.
The boys had been so excited about building a snowman, so we got started right away. The snow was hard to pack, so the guys improvised and used a trashcan to make a skinny snowman.
The kids decided to name him Frosty.
Our cousin Stacy let us borrow her awesome snowball makers. They make the best snowballs and the kids had fun throwing snowballs at each other.
Our little snow angels!
Lauren really loved eating the snow.
